I have seen several of our competitor’s products installed on some Arcade1up machines, and all I can say is that I am horrified. The quality problems are visible without even looking very hard. Here are some horrific examples that I spotted in the last couple of days. They use cheap plexiglass, instead of polycarbonate. They use 3/4 inch brackets, which are the only 3/4 element on the entire cabinet- everything else is 1/2 inch. They use oversized screws that are clearly visible through the graphics. Their light fixtures are shameful. They charge a premium price for a substandard product.

Here is another one. long visible screws. 3/4 inch brackets, when the entire cabinet is made of 1/2 inch material. Light leaks from the sides.

Yet another one. Huge visible screws, oversized brackets, light leaks and a visible shadow at the top of marque (right below the bracket).

Visible screws, oversized brackets with shadowing, light leaks on both sides.

Here is another picture that shows the poor design of the marquee’s structure. You can see the huge screw tunnel and the giant, oversized screw. Horrific.

Another one. Light leak, Hughe visible screws, clumsy brackets, shadowing at the top.

The horror continues with these screws and huge, oversized brackets.

I don’t even know what to say about the quality of the light fixtures they use. (The cheapest, tape backed, flexible led strips they can find).

Now that you know what to look for, see if you can pick out the defects in this one? That’s right….visible screws, The Hulk character is cut off, oversized brackets. The visible screw is not even straight.

Only the right side of this marquee is visible, so you cannot see the horrors hiding on the left side. Huge light leak, oversized brackets.

Yet another questionable marquee. Why do the screws have to be so long? Why are the brackets so big? Sad.

The use of the word horror is both comedic and correct.
Before I knew any better I bought one with the gigantic screw tunnels. I was horrified, seriously. I couldn’t not see it. Any time I looked at the machine that’s all I saw. Plus the cheap, cheap light strip with sticky back was terrible. I contacted them pretty quickly that I was unsatisfied and to my shock and their credit they did offer a refund. I came to find out this company was HATED on the A1U modding FB page. Then I bought from a very well respected individual. Many, many, many ppl say his marquees are the best. I ordered, I was happy with it, until I ordered and received 3 marquees from here. After putting the machines side by side that marquee is so visibly washed out its not even funny. The black ink is practically see through, and much light fading through the black. AGFs marquee art is very vibrant and the blacks are black, no light bleeding through the ink.
